Be a Reading Hero this summer! Join us for special programs, contests, story times, crafts, and take home packages. There is something to do for those as young as 18 months through adults! Come to as many programs as your schedule allows. Registration is required for some programs. Call Carol or Dot at 856.858.0649 from 9:30am-5pm Monday through Friday.


Family Program with storyteller Mr. Malcolm: Thursday, June 18 – 4pm
Enjoy Mr. Malcolm’s humorous and interactive stories! No registration required.

Tiny Tots Story Time: (for children 18-35 months old) Friday, July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 – 10am
This hour long program includes short stories, finger plays, songs, and playtime. Call to register.

Story Time for 3-5 Year Olds: Thursday, July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 – 10am until 11:30am
Enjoy stories, songs, finger plays, snack, play period, and a take home craft. Call to register.

Preschool Activity Boards: (for children age 3 to those entering Kindergarten)
June 19-Aug. 28
Earn prizes at the Library by completing varied activities. Come to the Library to receive your board after June 18.

Lunch and Legos: (for those entering K-5th grades) Wednesday, July 29, 11:30am-1:30pm
Bring a brown bag lunch. The Library will provide a beverage, dessert and lots of Lego fun. Call to register.

Take Home Activity Packages: (for those entering 1st-5th grades) June 19-Aug. 28
Come to the Library and pick up your summer activity package. Complete the four challenges through the summer. Bring in your results to collect prizes anytime during the summer.

Reading Log: (for those entering 1st-5th grades) June 19-Aug. 28
Read and record the books you have read. Turn your log in at the Library and you will receive a prize at the Book Festival Assemblies in September. Logs will be available at the schools and at the library in mid-June.

For Teens entering 7th-12th Grades: Tuesday, 5pm-7pm. No registration required.

July 7 Mutants Among Us: Celebrate your favorite outsider comic book heroes with crafts, pizza, and trivia contest with prizes.

July 28 Behind the Mask: Super-Villains invade the library! Celebrate the dark side of the comic book universe with crafts, pizza, prizes and more!



For Teens and Adults: June 19-Aug. 28
Enter raffle tickets for those books you have read. Winners will be randomly chosen throughout the summer winning Collingswood Cash and a book. No registration required.


Jordan’s Love Letters Literacy Project
We will be making alphabet packages which will be given to pre-readers who need help learning their ABCs.

Wax Paper Stain Glass Window
Help us make the largest stain glass window that we can manage!
